Louise Towl – Chartered & Veterinary Physiotherapist

PGDip BSc (Hons) MCSP SRP ACPAT A

Louise qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the University of the West of England in 2001. Whilst continuing to work for the NHS she began training as a Veterinary Physiotherapist in 2004, and qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma from the Royal Veterinary College in December 2005. Since then she has continued to work for the NHS on an increasingly part time basis, but expanded her veterinary work, and joined Linhay in March 2008.

Her own clients are a mixture of horse and dog owners, and she treats horses that are competing internationally. The Linhay provides an excellent facility due to the close working of vets and physios, and this is particularly important for her with the complex cases we are able to take in as inpatients.

She has owned dogs and horses all her life, and competes in eventing at Pre-Novice and dressage at Medium level, as well as producing a Dartmoor pony to sell.
